INTRODUCTION

This trek is an fantastic option after the classic Inca Trails, this an ancient trail to Machupicchu unused for long time ago, and now is an great option for people who enjoy very much the nature; natural hot springs on the way, great views of snow mountains, jungle trek and end at Machupicchu city.
This trek is rated a moderate to difficult hike considering the high altitudes and length of walking especially on the 2nd Day. You need to acclimatize in Cusco for at least 3 days before trekking; the highs peak is about 4500 m.a.s.l. 300 meters higher than the “dead woman pass” in the Inca Trail.
